Hung è il simple past e il participio passato del verbo to hang quando significa “appendere”: The walls were hung with enormous oil paintings, alle pareti erano appesi enormi dipinti a olio. Hanged è il simple past e il participio passato di to hang solo quando significa “impiccare”: They were hanged at first light the following day, sono stati impiccati il giorno seguente all'alba, He hanged himself the night before his court appearance, si impiccò la notte prima del processo.
